The Youth Group is about:
“ENCOURAGING YOUNG PEOPLE TO FOLLOW CHRIST, GROW THROUGH FELLOWSHIP AND PROCLAIM THE GOSPEL”.
The Youth Group meets every Saturday night during school terms from 7pm, with meetings officially beginning at 7:30pm. We meet in the lower church hall for a relaxed and informal time together; the emphasis is on encouraging Christian fellowship and learning about what the Bible has to say to us. We started the first meeting of Term 2 with some burritos for dinner but a typical Saturday night involves time for worship, studying the Bible, prayer in small groups, games and supper. Everyone is welcome!

To end Term 2, the Youth Group took photos of a number of interesting things as part of a Photo Scavenger Hunt around Kingsford, ending up at McDonalds.
On 25 and 26 April, some of the Youth and Young Adults went along to a Youth Vision camp held at Naamaroo Conference Centre in Chatswood, with the theme being "Courage & Honour". There were challenging and applicable talks from a number of speakers and we got to spend some time getting to know one another better.
In February 2008, a number of young people from the church and their friends participated in The Amazing Race around Sydney, collecting clues and completing challenges to be the first to arrive at the Pit Stop.
The Youth Group is currently on holidays but we'll be back again on Saturday 18 October.
