What is 'Questions Answered' all about? (11/Oct/2007)

Curious asks I just noticed this new Questions Answered section on your web site. What is it for?

Dear Curious,
I'm glad you asked. We wanted to bring a bit more interactivity to the web site. Rather than just presenting content that we thought might be interesting, we wanted to find out what our readers are interested in, and provide matching content. This is one way.

People often have questions about Christianity, or God, or what a particular church believes, and they sometimes want to ask anonymously. This section is perfect for that, or for asking any other questions of the leadership of our church, whether theological, doctrinal, practical, or even mathematical. We cannot always promise perfect answers (particularly that last category) but we will do our best.

So if you have any question that you would like to ask the leadership of our church, just click on the "Submit a question" link and type away. The message that you type will be emailed to the leadership of the church and they will decide how best to answer it.

If you want a more personal answer, you can leave an Email address and we will contact you directly and if you provide details that you want us to keep confidential then make that clear (but there are some secrets that we cannot keep).

We hope to be adding a comment facility at some stage so that people can comment on answers, providing extra input or asking follow-up questions. The comments will not be anonymous, but if anonymity is really important, you can always just submit another question.

Finally, please also sign your name, even if it is just a Pseudonym like you did with "Curious". It makes it just a little more personal to have an name to address the reply to.

We look forward to any questions that come our way.
